Yes I have been writing and working on two other books !, but this one just rolled from my thoughts and heart. It came so easy, naturally. All my life I’ve had Chooks, I LOVE chooks! I Know about chooks!

The book was spurred on by “The People” like most things I’m doing in my life, for people and to help people. The Demand was there! The NEED was great! When I say need I mean ~ I experienced (I act always after experience) an awaking that people DIDN’T KNOW how to Keep Chooks (my chook courses are book out and the questions are amazing) and they had NO idea how to successfully care for them. People hadn’t considered the Chooks needs. Education was needed. Especially a book about the combination of chooks and gardening. Specific informative information had to become available. That’s when I put pen to paper.

It’s a GREAT book! Of course it is! It’s about CHOOKS that’s why! AND THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT CHOOKS ?????????

Vegie gardening with the help of chooks

The book is a good easy read. It has 74 pages FRONT AND BACK of useful need to know information. I have written with affection about organic chooky husbandry and Believe that the organic management practices I describe are good and successful for the Chooks health, our health and the environments health. Chooks should be of Good Organic quality, good health, yield well and be extremely productive. Not bored and destructive.

I haven’t written just about chooks! Our chooks have been workers and use for their full abilities, while understanding and respecting their special needs. Good Organic Caring has always been placed first, then energy transfer has been used. I cover how you can integrate them into gardening methods. Our chooks have been an important part of creating the soil, gardens and lawns, also controlling pest and weeds. The chooks have played a huge role in the successful development of our 2 ¼ acre gardens.

My book is very extensive covering everything you need to know about Chooks, no I didn’t write about all the different breeds as there is already breed books out there that covers this and I feel that if you are interested in one particular breed then you should study the specific breed book or papers or inquirer at a club.
