Worm Farming BookWorm Farming Our saviour for the soilWith Jade Woodhouse
The more and more I garden Organically and Sustainably the more evidence I see of this method being highly successful for healthy growing, increasing the life and fertility of the soil and producing healthy, nutritious food which creates health in the consumers of the food. It is definantly the way to go! I started using worm castings continuous seven years ago, always adding or applying to the soil with each planting or as a leaf application and I have seen the incredible changes it has made to the soil, its fertility and biological life. The soil is full of nutrients that are available to the plants. The soil holds moisture, the soil pH is buffered and the soil temperature is stable. Our food not only has sweetness and flavour, it is jammed packed with nutrients. I can't mention all the praises I have for worm castings, they are tremendously great.
